School Uniform

Our school uniform is an important part of our identity and we have high expectations that students will wear their uniform smartly and with pride.  Our school uniform is available from 2 suppliers as follows:

Maisies offer all uniform items online and in their store in Wolverton (except the kilt)

Price & Buckland offer all uniform items online with delivery to the home or school

Older students who already have previous uniform items (such as the jumpers and blazers with the orange edging) that still fit are welcome to keep wearing them.  When items need replacing the uniform listed below should be purchased.

Sixth Form

As Sixth Form students, you are role models for the rest of the school. Your dress should reflect the professional, mature, and respectful environment of the Sixth Form while allowing you to express your identity appropriately. We do not require a uniform, but we do expect you to follow a ‘business casual’ dress code with some flexibility.

What’s Acceptable
You are welcome to wear:
● Smart trousers or chinos, smart straight leg jeans
● Skirts or dresses of a modest length
● Polo shirts, blouses, smart tops
● Jumpers, cardigans, smart sweatshirts
● Blazers or jackets (optional but encouraged)
● Smart footwear (trainers acceptable if clean and neutral)
You can express your style through:
● Colours and accessories that would be appropriate for a professional
workplace
● Cultural or religious dress

What’s Not Acceptable
To maintain high standards, please avoid overly casual clothing, not appropriate for a professional workplace.
● Ripped jeans, joggers, leggings worn as trousers
● Crop tops, low-cut tops, strapless tops, strappy tops
● Shorts, mini skirts, or excessively short dresses
● Graphic clothing with offensive or political messages
● Football shirts
● Slides, slippers, crocs or flip-flops
Coats on or hoods up in the building or hats/caps indoors (except for religious
purposes)

We reserve the right to speak with students whose clothing falls outside this guidance.
This code is about respecting the learning environment, not restricting identity. If you're unsure whether something is appropriate, just ask a member of the Sixth Form team.

School Equipment

Students are required to bring in the following school equipment items to school each day for their lessons.

Our equipment list is as follows;

  • A bag that must be big enough to carry a number of A4 sized books/folders
  • A pencil case containing 2 pens, 2 pencils, a sharpener, rubber, ruler, protractor, compass
  • Maths calculator (Casio fx - 85GT CW Classwiz)
  • A highlighter*
  • A green pen*

If students do not have the correct equipment with them in lessons this often means that a prompt start to the learning can’t happen and leads to delays in students completing tasks.

As we encourage our students to be resilient and responsible for their learning, we suggest that students pack their equipment in their school bags the night before (along with other items that they might need e.g. PE kit, exercise books).

If there are any issues or queries in regards to this, please contact your child’s form tutor in the first instance.

The following pictures will help parents and students to decide on what is appropriate for school.  If uniform items are purchased from our approved school uniform suppliers then they will meet our uniform requirements.
