On Friday 25th April 2025 The Careers Team and Sixth Form had the pleasure of welcoming several guests from Grant Thornton, a local accounting company, who came in to spend the day working with our Year 12 students.
Throughout the day the students had the opportunity to engage in interactive workshops that focused on employability skills, the importance of professionalism in the workplace, CV writing advice as well interview skills followed by the chance to take part in a mock interview with our guests.
All our students engaged well throughout the day and the feedback from our Grant Thornton guests was extremely positive - comments around how well our students conducted themselves and came across when answering questions and taking part in mock interviews was wonderful to hear. We hope Year 12 enjoyed the day as much as our guests and that they have taken away skills and advice to support them as they progress in their future careers.
