On Thursday, 27th February, Stantonbury School welcomed 36 organisations to its biggest Careers Fair to date! Students from Years 10, 11, 12, and 13 had the invaluable opportunity to explore future career paths, university options, and apprenticeship opportunities.
A huge thank you to our tutors for helping students prepare using the planning sheets, and to our teachers for supporting and encouraging students to engage fully in the event. The day was a resounding success!
Making Connections That Matter
The goal of the event was for each student to have at least six meaningful conversations—interactions that provided real insight into work, study, or training and what it takes to succeed. One university guest reported an incredible 240 meaningful conversations throughout the day!
Positive Feedback from Exhibitors
Our exhibitors were truly impressed with our students' curiosity, enthusiasm, and professionalism. They particularly praised the student planning cards, which encouraged students to take initiative and ask thoughtful questions. Many also highlighted the excellent organisation, well-structured layout, and polite, engaged student interactions.
A representative from the University of Hertfordshire shared:
