We are incredibly proud of our Year 12 student, Izzy, who recently had an amazing opportunity to visit the Houses of Parliament and interview key figures in politics and local governance.
As part of an event hosted by Emily Darlington MP, Izzy spoke with MP Emily Darlington, MK Youth Mayor Maggie Beckett, MK Council CEO Michael Bracey, and Countess Howe, Lord-Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire.
The event celebrated the work of MKIAC (Milton Keynes Islamic Arts & Culture)—a charity dedicated to harnessing the power of creativity to bring communities together.
MKIAC, based at Milton Keynes College, offers students the chance to get involved in planning major cultural events, including Art in the Park and MK City of Light.
Izzy’s experience highlights the incredible opportunities available to young people in our community.
Well done, Izzy—what an inspiring achievement!
