Freddie is a dynamic and driven individual with a proven track record in leadership, teamwork, and community engagement. His passion for personal growth and helping others shines through his extensive involvement with the Scouts Association and Special Ops MK.
Employment and Volunteering Experience
During 2022 to 2023, Freddie worked with Special Ops MK, supporting weekly clubs and children’s parties. In this role, he taught essential life and survival skills, supervised sessions, and facilitated events that engaged young people in meaningful, hands-on learning.
Since joining the Scouts Association as a Young Leader in September 2022, Freddie has taken on an active role in weekly Cubs meetings, where he continues to contribute and inspire. He plans and leads activities, supervises young members, and contributes to weekend camps. Freddie has also volunteered in various community projects, including the MK Marathon and organizing parking at the MK Museum.
Developing Practical Skills Through Extracurricular Activities
Freddie has been an active member of the Scouts Association for six years, five of which overlapped with his time at Special Ops MK. These experiences have allowed Freddie to develop a wide range of practical skills, including:
- Fire lighting, map reading, and orienteering.

- Explorer Scout Young Leader Award Scheme: Freddie completed this comprehensive program, gaining training in emergency first aid, understanding and managing young people’s behaviour, designing engaging programs, and honing his communication and leadership abilities.
- Bucks Grand Tour 2023: Freddie was selected to join this prestigious event with Buckinghamshire Explorers. Over three weeks, he traveled across six countries as a Patrol Leader for 12 explorers. He took charge of ensuring the safety and well-being of his patrol, managing logistics like passport safety, and maintaining morale throughout the journey.
Academic Pursuits
Freddie is currently pursuing A-Levels in Politics, History, and Drama, showcasing his blend of analytical thinking, creativity, and interest in understanding societal dynamics.

Freddie’s dedication to excellence is reflected in his high attendance record, often achieving 100% attendance. His diverse roles have helped him develop adaptability, effective communication skills, and the ability to inspire those around him.
