It is one week until the Stantonbury Sixth Form Open Evening. On Thursday 23rd November from 5.30pm – 7.30pm we will be opening our doors at the main entrance to many interested parents and students. We are looking forward to demonstrating how, for students considering Sixth Form, Stantonbury should be the next step in their academic journey.
There will be two talks delivered at 6pm and 6.30pm in the theatre, which will explain our learning philosophy and how our values influence our approach to the education of young people.
After this, guests are invited to speak with current students who can explain their experiences so far at the school and give advice to those hoping to attend next year. We will also have several teachers present, who will be willing to ask any questions that parents or students might have about what to expect from Stantonbury Sixth Form.
Mrs Dedman, new Head of Sixth Form at Stantonbury says "I am very excited for my first open evening here, to be able to show off some of the excellent facilities and subjects. We are working hard to develop all areas of the sixth form. For any Year 11s undecided, all I'd ask is for you to come and give us an hour of your time next Thursday. I hope you'll be impressed!"
