We are extremely proud of the efforts of our sixth form students over the past academic year. Students showed resilience and a determination to succeed during their time at sixth form and have gained places at well-respected Universities as a result.
85% of A-Level grades were at A* to E with 46% achieving A* to C. These results reflect the hard work and dedication of both students and staff.
Some individual highlights include:
Louis Harvey achieved A, A, B in Maths, Psychology and Business and is going to study Computer Science at Lancaster University.
Martin Ayiku-Botchway achieved A, A, B in Maths, Finance and Business and is going to study Accounting and Finance at the University of Leicester.
Caitlin Lee-Glennon achieved A, A, B in Sociology, Criminology and Art and is going to study Education at Manchester Metropolitan University.
Billy O’Rourke achieved A, A, B in Business, Maths and Psychology and is going to study Psychology with Criminology at Loughborough University.
Devon Mackenzie achieved A*, Distinction, B in Psychology, Media Studies and Drama & Theatre and is going to study Clinical Psychology at Royal Holloway University.
These results reflect the perseverance and dedication our students have demonstrated over the past two years. I would like to take this opportunity to say congratulations and good luck to all students as they embark on new challenges and a huge thank you to the staff who have supported them throughout their time with us.
